Discussing end-of-life care can be uncomfortable, but it is a fact of life for many families. We understand that when someone is facing a limited life expectancy, they usually want to spend that difficult time with family, in the setting most comfortable to them. We Are Family Home Care can be there alongside family and Hospice providers to assist in any way we can.
With time being so precious, our Caregivers will be there for the person who is ill and his or her family, to provide emotional support, to handle homemaker tasks, and to care of the person's personal-care needs, so that the person and his or her family can just focus on each other.
- Fellowship/companionship
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Laundry
- Bathing/dressing/hygiene/grooming/toileting assistance if necessary
- And more, as needed.... Just ask!
We can also continue to assist family members after the passing of their loved one. Everyone is entitled to grieve in whatever manner they choose. That may be different for each member. Our Caregivers can assist families in gathering and organizing their loved one's personal belongings, so family members can cope with and process the situation. Organizing and sorting personal belongings can be an arduous task for a family to undertake at a time when they need to grieve and make tough decisions. Let us help, even if it's just to lend an ear to listen.
PLEASE NOTE: We Are Family Home Care is not a Hospice Care provider, and is not licensed to provide such services.
